Alignments

One specialty technique in this office is the procedure we call an 'alignment'.

The checking procedure for this technique is to observe the difference in the body from left and right sides.  This can be done using the scale test, muscle strength test, tenderness, posture test - eyes closed standing, muscle tone etc.  These tests demonstrate possible neurological imbalance in the body that may be coming from the brain's reaction to overload (e.g. from stress).

An alignment is a gentle yet powerful lift procedure and is used to help reset or re-establish nerve output from the brain, thus assisting to balance the entire body.

If you’ve been to a chiropractor before and prefer to be adjusted in a particular way, let us know. We want you to relax, enjoy and fully benefit from your chiropractic care.

Dr Jeff Asks some important questions of interest to Hobart residents - Chiropractor Hobart Dr Jeff Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
